Using this site
Restaurant Coaching Solutions provides free articles, guides, worksheets and calculators for general information. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
No professional advice
The content is educational. It isn't legal, tax, accounting, immigration, human resources or financial advice, and reading it doesn't create any professional relationship. Rules on wages, tips, hiring paperwork and taxes vary by state and city and change over time. Before acting on anything that affects pay, employment or compliance, check the official source and talk to a qualified professional.
Calculators
The calculators do arithmetic on the numbers you enter. Results depend on those inputs and on simplifying assumptions explained on each page. We try to keep the formulas correct and the default figures current, but we can't guarantee that a result fits your situation. You're responsible for decisions you make using them.
Worksheets and templates
You may print, copy and adapt our worksheets and templates for use in your own business, including sharing them with your staff. You may not sell them, bundle them into a paid product, or republish them as your own on another website. Short quotations with a link back to the source page are fine.
Articles
Our articles are protected by copyright. You may link to them and quote short passages with attribution. Please ask before republishing a whole article.
Links
We link to outside sources, mostly government agencies, so you can check facts. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.
Trademarks
Company and product names mentioned on this site, such as X or Google, belong to their owners. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
Availability and changes
We may change, move or remove any page or tool at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
