Government forms we point to
We don't host copies of government forms, because they change and an outdated copy can cause problems. For Form I-9, get the current form and instructions directly from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services; our Form I-9 guide for restaurants explains how restaurants usually handle it and links to the official page. For tip credit rules, our tip credit calculator links to the Department of Labor's fact sheet.
Using these files

Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the templates?
Yes. The CSV files open in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers or LibreOffice, and the text templates open in any text editor or word processor. Change the wording to fit your restaurant.
Why are the downloads plain CSV and text files?
They open on any computer or phone without special software and they're easy to adapt. Format them however you like once they're open.
Where did the old forms on this domain go?
Earlier owners of the domain published their own files, which are no longer available. We have no connection to those owners. Old links to those files now lead to this page or to the closest matching tool.
